Wild Wells is a visual journal of wildlife and the natural landscape around Wells‑next‑the‑Sea on the North Norfolk coast.
The photographs are made through regular walking and repeated visits, allowing light, weather, tide and animal behaviour to shape the work over time. Attention is given to small moments rather than spectacle, and to returning rather than ranging widely.
The project centres on the meeting of beach, harbour, pinewoods and saltmarsh … places that change constantly yet reward patience and familiarity.
Wild Wells is not intended as a guide or a catalogue. It is a quiet, ongoing exploration of a place and its wildlife, photographed with care and respect.
A small selection of images from the journal are available as archival fine art prints. The journal itself remains the focus.
